Overview of the application process

Sweden has a pooled admission system. This means that students can apply for courses and programmes at all higher education institutions through the same application via www.universityadmissions.se External link, opens in new window..

Non EU/EEA students should submit their applications in the first round, also known as the international admission round. Non-EU/EEA students who require a residence permit won't have time to apply for and receive their visas and permits if they apply and get admitted in the second round.
