Travel information

If you arrive with international flights you will need to go from Arlanda airport to Stockholm Central Station from where you can reach all the recommended hotels with public transport. The easiest way is to take the airport coaches Länk till annan webbplats, öppnas i nytt fönster. (takes ca. 45 minutes) which leave every 10 to 15 minutes most of the day.
There is also an express train Länk till annan webbplats, öppnas i nytt fönster. (takes ca. 20 minutes but is more expensive).

The easiest way to get to the recommended hotels from Stockholm Central station is to use the Metro, but to do so you need a ticket. SL Centers are located at the Central Station in the lower hall.

How to get to the venue at Södertörn University

The commuting train station closest to the hotels listed on Södermalm is “Stockholms södra” (Rail network map Länk till annan webbplats.). To go to Södertörn University get on a train to “Södertälje” or “Tumba” and get off at “Flemingsberg”, an 18-minute trip with the commuting train. During non-rush hour the trains schedule is every 15-minutes and at rush-hour more often.

When you arrive at Flemingsberg station take the southern exit (in the front of the train). Take right when leaving the station and walk ca 100 m to a long escalator. After taking the escalator you have the main building of Södertörn University on your right hand. The main entrance is situated in the middle of the curved building where you also find the reception desk. The lecture hall for Day 1 of the meeting is named MC518 and located in the MC-building on the 5th floor (same floor as the entrance). Follow the signs or ask in the reception desk to find the lecture hall.
