Advanced Seminar in Media Technology: Designing for a change

Advanced semiinar in Media technology with Mattias Jacobsson, discussing recent trends in technologies related to areas of Sustainable Development Goals but more specifically it will detail a few examples of hands on work where change is the implied expected consequence of a design process.

TOPIC:

For the past few years my research has been focused around changes regarding digitalization on a city-level, changes in life-styles connected to dementia prevention and changes by means of encouraging biking. All of these are timely connected though the Sustainable Development Goals, but nothing is ever simple when it comes to dealing with change in practice. The seminar will work as a brief overview of recent trends in technologies related to these areas, but more specifically it will detail a few examples of hands on work where change is the implied expected consequence of a design process.
