Presentation of the special section: “Post-socialist Revolutions of Intimacy”, Sexuality & Culture, 2020

The seminar is organised by the Centre for baltic and East European Studies (CBEES).

This seminar is aimed to present the special section: “Post-socialist Revolutions of Intimacy” published by Sexuality & Culture, in 2020. The special section is the outcome of the workshop “Revolutions of Intimacy: Sexuality, Rights and Backlash” that took place at the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) at Södertörn University and in the Nordic Museum in October 2018. The workshop was supported by the Swedish Bank Jubilee Fund (Riksbankens Jubileumsfond) and by CBEES.

The editors of the special section are Yulia Gradskova, Alexander Kondakov & Maryna Shevtsova.

Yulia Gradskova (Södertörn University) and Maryna Shevtsova (Postdoctoral researcher, Lund University) will present the special section at the seminar. It will be followed by the informal discussion.
