Professor Manuela Boatcă is Professor of Sociology at Albert Ludwig University Freiburg, Germany, and holder of the Swedish Research Council's Kerstin Hasselgren Professorship 2025. In 2025, Manuela Boatcă will be a visiting professor at the Department of Gender Studies at Södertörn University.

On 4 March, Manuela Boatcă will give her inaugural lecture “Gendering Global Entanglements”.
