CBEES 20 Years Roundtable: East European & Russian Studies

As part of the 20th anniversary of the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES), we welcome colleagues and friends to a collegial conversation on current developments in East European and Russian Studies. We look forward to an afternoon of shared insights and lively discussion.

Rather than a large public lecture, the event fosters a collegial atmosphere that encourages dialogue and brings together distinguished scholars for an enriching exchange.

Keynote speaker: Sari Autio-Sarasmo (Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki)

The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion with:

• Bo Petersson (Russia, Ukraine and the Caucasus Regional Research, Malmö University),
• Barbara Törnquist-Plewa (Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University),
• Matthew Kott (Institute of Russian and Eurasian Studies, Uppsala University),
• Irina Sandomirskaja (Centre for Baltic and East European Studies, Södertörn University).
