A toolkit built upon modern microeconomic theories

This Master’s level course provides you with an understanding of advanced microeconomic theory and the ability to relate it to societal problems at the micro level, in both abstract and applied contexts. You will critically and analytically assess empirically and theory-based claims and gain an understanding of how theoretical perspectives and choices of methods influence scientific studies. One aim of the course is that you will acquire skills that allow you to participate in scholarly discussions of microeconomic issues, contributing qualified opinions and to use an economic perspective in other professional contexts, domestically and internationally.
