International relations in theory and practice

This course is about the theory, practice and dynamics of international relations, and discusses the strengths and weaknesses of core theoretical perspectives and empirical studies in international relations. You will have the opportunity to specialise in an area of international relations, such as in conflict resolution, globalisation, international cooperation, international administration and bureaucracy, or foreign policy decision-making.

Course design

The course is taught through lectures and compulsory seminars, and assessment is based on written assignments, compulsory seminars, and a final essay.
