There is a focus on the relationship between individual freedom and the common good, as well as how this relationship can be understood and figured through pedagogical relations. Various forms of communication are tested, and differing perspectives on diversity and interculturality are problematised. Ethical, political and aesthetic aspects of value conflicts are highlighted using practical exercises. The course also offers deeper understanding of interviews as a research method, as well the associated considerations of research ethics.
