Elena Palenova (she/her) is a geospatial data scientist leveraging Remote Sensing, programming, modeling for mapping, geospatial data analysis, and data visualization.
Elena works with national, academic, and private organizations to apply geospatial data in a practical way. She is experienced in sustainable development topics, ecosystem services, biomass and carbon stock estimation.
Currently, Elena is working as a PhD researcher on topics related to vegetation recovery after forest fires in Greece using Remote Sensing and GIS.
The researcher is not participating in any projects at this moment.
