My research concerns photojournalistic practices, ethics, the role of emotions, subjectivity, and embodiment in the making of photographs, and how photojournalists relate to the people they encounter in their practice. In my PhD thesis (2021), I investigated the possibility for photographs to serve as a space where people appear rather than being represented.
