I have been employed as a lecturer in the theory of practical knowledge at the Centre for Studies in Practical Knowledge at Södertörn University since 2017. I did my dissertation in 2006 in the subject of Skills and technology at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm). My doctoral thesis was about usage of dialogue based on the reading of classical texts from the history and philosophy of science in order to stimulate reflection on one's own experience as a researcher. Subsequently, I have written about the role of reflection in other educational contexts. My research interests are about informal education and how informal education and skills can be recognized in working life and in more formal educational contexts.

Prior to my employed at Södertörn University, I worked at Linnaeus University (2010-2013) where I participated in the development of the master's program in vocational skills and professional development. Years 2014-17, I worked with pedagogical development and as coordinator and project manager for the Erasmus+ project IMPROPAL at Xenter, a higher vocational education institution based in Botkyrka.
