I have a PhD in history and I’m a lecturer in tourism studies. My research has focused on the constructions of collective identities, imaginaries, and the influence of the mass media and social media in the past and current times. My studies touch upon the field of nationalism studies, media, tourism, critical heritage and memory studies. My research could be termed eclectic - using perspectives from history, ethnography, media and communication, sociology etc.
