I have a PhD in history since 2008 and since 2012 I’m a lecturer in tourism studies. My research has focused on the constructions of collective identities and the influence of the mass media in society during the turn of the 20th century and later. My studies touch upon the field of nationalism studies, sports, media history, tourism, critical heritage studies and human geography. My research could be termed eclectic - using perspectives from history, ethnography, media and communication, sociology etc. See link to publications below.
