I am a professor in Business Studies and my research is mainly what could be called business and financial history. I finished my PhD at Uppsala University in 1999 with a dissertation on the Swedish insurance companies international operations. Since then I have written articles and books in the following areas: Internationalization of financial corporations, private and public insurance, financial entrepreneurs, business history, entrepreneurship and trademarks, privatization and transformation of financial markets in eastern Europe, ownership forms and corporate governance, and financial crises.
