My research is concerned with the organization of the school subjects of Swedish and Swedish as a second language in upper secondary school with a focus on multilingual literacy development and classroom discourse. My doctoral position is within the framework of the graduate school Education, learning and globalization, a collaboration between Södertörn University, Malmö University and Uppsala University.
Other areas of interest: second language learning, power relations in school and society and institutional discourse.
