Scholars at Risk demands the release of imprisoned academic
Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali, scholar of disaster medicine, has been imprisoned in Iran since 2016. In 2017, he was sentenced to death.
It has been announced that the death sentence will soon be carried out. Södertörn University is a member of the international Scholars at Risk network, which works to protect threatened scholars and is now demanding the release of Dr. Djalali.
