Dr. Johanna Johansson holds a PhD in Political Science from Umeå University (2013). In September 2014, she was appointed a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Social Sciences at Södertörn University. Her major research interest is in the policy design and outcomes of Swedish forest policy, particularly the role played by collaborative processes. Johansson is involved in several research projects related to Swedish forest use, policy and governance. She was enrolled as a Visiting Assistant in Research (VAR) at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University, in the spring of 2012.
