With a background in French studies, I conduct research in literature and politics, as well as subject didactics.

Ongoing Projects:

Transformative Literature Teaching with Didafiction

Through transformative learning, students can develop more open, reflective, and inclusive perspectives while expressing themselves independently. In 2026 and 2027, we will test didafiction and transformative learning in three Swedish upper secondary schools. Didafiction consists of literary narratives that depict socio-historical content using aesthetic and pedagogical means.

In collaboration with Olle Nordberg, Uppsala University.
Funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Södertörn University.

Literary Translation and the Nobel Prize

This project investigates the role of translation in the selection of Nobel Prize winners in literature, as well as related issues. It involves literary scholars, translation researchers, and translators.

In collaboration with Paul Tenngart, Lund University.
Funded by The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

ISCOD

The International Conference on Comparative Didactics is an initiation project that supports and promotes research in comparative didactics. Researchers in this field analyze different parts of the educational system in relation to each other and study interdisciplinary and international patterns relevant to teaching and learning. Subject didactics researchers engage in comparative didactics to benefit from each other’s work, such as method development and data collection.

Funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond.
