The project engages in a systematic and multi-focussed exploration of the role of literary translation in the Nobel Prize selection process as well as the role of the Nobel Prize institution in translational strategies. Under the headline Nobel Symposia®, it addresses the topic from multiple perspectives, involving both literary scholars, translation studies scholars, and translation practitioners.
