The course provides students with in-depth knowledge of central sociological theories and concepts, and covers influential theoretical currents in the international arena as well as in Swedish sociology. The course deepens previous knowledge of the sociological theoretical tradition, including examining current sociological journals in the field. The course also presents sociological theory and current sociological research.
