The course addresses the impact of cultural factors on human thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Key areas include factors that affect encounters between people of different cultural backgrounds and how culture influences values and concept formation. An intercultural perspective encompasses differences and similarities between cultures, as well as communication and encounters between groups.
