You will be introduced to a selection of texts and contexts in English-language literary and cultural studies, with a focus on global interactions. You will learn basic concepts in narrative analysis and critical theory, analyses different texts types, including fiction, poetry, and film, and acquires knowledge about the historical and societal contexts in which Anglophone cultures have developed in the modern world. After completing the course, you will be able to discuss literature and culture in a self-reflective manner and produce proficient written and oral analyses in English that follow basic academic conventions.
