The course advances the students’ knowledge of education as a scholarly subject by focusing on research about the educational challenges that arise in a globalised society, such as issues relating to interculturality, citizenship, and individual participation in society. Structures and practices that maintain inequality and discrimination are problematised and analysed, at both structural and individual levels.
