Ukrainian Research Fellowship Programme
The Ukrainian Research Fellowship Programme (URFP) is a visiting research initiative hosted by Södertörn University, coordinated by the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES), and funded by the Foundation for Baltic and East European Studies (Östersjöstiftelsen). The programme is aimed at scholars affiliated with Ukrainian universities and research institutions who are physically based in Ukraine.
Through short-term stays of 1 to 3 months, fellows are given the opportunity to focus on their research, take a break from the challenging working conditions in Ukraine, and build valuable academic connections, particularly with researchers at Södertörn University.
The programme is announced twice a year, ahead of the spring and autumn semesters, and offers up to six fellowships per call. Each fellowship includes a stipend that covers both the stay in Sweden and round-trip travel expenses. Announcements will be published on the webpage with vacant positions.
