Study and career guidance

As a student, you can register an account on SH Karriär for free. When registered you can take advantage of various tips, lectures, and events on topics such as writing a CV and/or cover letter, recruitment, and more. Through the career portal, you can also discover different companies and employers and connect. The career portal also hosts events and virtual career fairs that can contribute to your future career and planning.

Through the portal, you can search for:

• Jobs, such as part-time jobs, extra jobs, summer jobs, and jobs after graduation
• Thesis projects
• Internships, both nationally and internationally
  

As a company or organisation, you are welcome to use our career portal, SH Karriär. Here, you can get in touch with students and recent graduates from Södertörn University.

As an employer, you can do the following:

• Advertise opportunities such as work placements, part-time jobs, trainee positions, graduation projects and other roles.
• Present your organisation so that our students can get to know you better and discover you as an employer. You can do this by creating a company page.

As an organisation, you can can do the following in SH Karriär:

1. Create a ‘Free Plan’ company account to advertise to our students at Södertörn University. With this account, you can publish 4 adverts per year free of charge.
2. Create an “Institution-Linked Company” account. With this account type, you can publish adverts (an unlimited number per year) and showcase your company or business through, for example, a presentation, images and/or a video. This allows students, your future employees, to get to know you better. A company page can be useful even when you do not have any vacancies.
3. If you wish to recruit for more positions or to reach more higher education institutions in Sweden or Europe with your advert, you can do so via our provider, JobTeaser External link, opens in new window.. Please contact them for information on advertising options.

To create an account, click on the link External link, opens in new window. and select the ‘Free-Plan’ or ‘University-affiliated company’ option.

Please consider the following when using SH Karriär:

• Advertisement: please ensure that the advertisement text is clear regarding the role’s content, the requirements and qualifications needed, and the language skills required.
• When making a Company page provide: a link to the company/organisation’s website, the organisation number, the name of a contact person and their email address.
  
  You may choose to leave a personal message for our students on your company page. Please do not post advertisements for current vacancies or events in the personal message. If you wish to offer opportunities such as jobs, part-time work or other opportunities, you can post an advertisement for this.
