Or examining how international and European law influences national legal systems in advancing Sustainability and Good Governance? This Master’s programme offers a strong foundation for pursuing advanced legal work, focusing on the Good Governance principles—such as transparency, accountability, respect for privacy, and sound administration—essential for achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16.
You will engage with a wide range of legal sources, including legislative texts, case law, preparatory works, and scholarly doctrine, complemented by national, European, and international policy documents. The programme places strong emphasis on analytical reasoning and structured approaches, drawing from real-world cases and the application of legal methodology. It also highlights a comparative perspective, examining how various legal systems address challenges related to Good Governance and sustainability.
Throughout the programme, you will develop the ability to articulate your views through written reports and discussions, as well as to present complex issues—such as the impact of European and international law on national legal systems in promoting Sustainability and Good Governance.
