Writing references is an important part of your academic studies. You must make a reference both when directly citing, and when you refer to another text.
There is a variety of referencing systems. At Södertörn University the systems most frequently used are the Harvard system and the Oxford system. At Swedish Red Cross University, APA is most common. If you are uncertain as to which system to use, we suggest you ask someone teaching on your course.
