Katarina Elofsson's research is about international, national and regional environmental policy for water quality management, wildlife, biodiversity, and climate policy.

Katarina Elofsson is Professor in Economics, with specialization in environmental economics, ecological economics and sustainable development. She became Associate Professor in 2012, and was employed at Södertörn university in 2018. Her research is about international, national and regional environmental policy for water quality management, hunted wildlife, large carnivores, invasive species and climate. The studies have applications to agriculture, forestry and energy use.
