Per Ståhlberg is senior lecturer in Media and Communication Studies at Södertörn University. He received a Ph.D in Social Anthropology from Stockholm University in 2003. The dissertation, Lucknow Daily: How a Hindi Newspaper Constructs Society, is a media-ethnography of Hindi-language journalists in a north Indian city and deals with professional practices and cultural globalization.
