Staff and steering committee
The Academy of Public Administration has leading researchers affiliated to its activities, of whom many feature regularly in the public sphere. We have a number of external members and visiting researchers.
Director: Jenny Madestam
Administrative staff: Sabine Walter
Steering Committee
The task of the steering committee is to support the director on strategic issues and decisions. They will thereby work for the long-term development of the Academy of Public Administration in accordance with its mission: to conduct qualified multidisciplinary education, to develop research into administration-related issues with a particular focus on Swedish public administration and to promote high-quality meetings between academics and practitioners.
Work involves participation in two meetings each year, at which the Academy and its activities are discussed. These meetings are prepared by the director in consultation for the chair of the steering committee.
The steering committee was appointed by the vice-chancellor on 8 July 2014 for a three-year period starting on 1 August 2014.
