I am a researcher in queer and gender studies with focus on Southeastern Europe. Publications and research interests include queer culture, sexuality and migration, LGBT+ activism.

My PhD project focuses on how ideas about unborn human life have influenced and structured Swedish abortion politics between 1935-2021.

Anna is post-doc, in the project 'Sustaining Civil Society in the Context of Multiple Crises'. Her main research interests are sex workers' rights in Poland.
